Frank, Bob, Chuck and John

Sooo, jetzt wird's mal Zeit für einen englischen Eintrag. Geklaut aus einer Mail an MaPa.


Since my arrival I have had to kill 5 or 6 bugs which were in my room, and you know that I'm really scared of these creatures. I even can't kill them because I feel so disgusted and I can't get closer to them than 30cm. First I have to say that I've no idea where they're coming from. There are mosquito nets in front of my windows and the door is closed the whole day. Anyway, three days ago I had another bug in my room and apparently it knows how to hide or how to be unreachable for 2 days. I told Rob about it and he only told me that I should call it "Frank". So my bug had a name. But two days later I killed Frank and I was really relieved that I can sleep well again. So I told Rob that I killed it and he was really angry about it. He asked why I didn't bring it out of the house and I tried to explain that I can't touch the things and so on, but he made me really feel guilty that I killed an animal. So I told him he has to bring it out the next time. And yesterday I observed 3(!) bugs on my plant (I think Rob wants to call them Bob, Chuck and John). It was so disgusting.... *brrrr* Because we were out for dinner, I asked Rob if he wanted to come into my room and get rid of my plant. Maybe put it outside or something like that. He also hates bugs but he came in my room, looked at the bugs and he said: "hey marie, they're happy on your plant, I promise they will not move away from it". Was he kidding? I'm totally scared of bugs and I can't sleep in a room if I know there are at least 3 bugs!! And I tried to explain and I begged him to carry the plant away but he felt sorry for the bugs (for bugs!!) so he didn't want to put them in the cold. "They will die in the cold". Who cares? I hope they will die. I think that wasn't what he wanted to hear and now my plant is in the hall. With the bugs on it so that they can have a nice life. But what about me? I have to pass by it every day. I don't have a nice life... *sigh*
Yeah, that was my bug story. Do I have any responsibility 'cause I'm called "Mariechen"-bug? Hopefully not. Crazy Rob. He rescued the bugs. Who rescues me?
